Los Haitises is a Tropical Forest declared as National Park of the Dominican Republic, where live animal species like Sea-cows, Boas, Marine Tortoises and hundreds of different species of birds, located in the zone East of the Dominican Republic.

Los Haitises National Park was declared a protected area by the President of the Dominican Republic.

When you visit there it  will be possible to enjoy from Tropical Forests up to diverse Swamps, between the coasts that limit this National Park of the Dominican Republic.

In Los Haitises National Park there are approximately 110 kinds of different birds.

Its fauna has a great variety and its the major representation in the whole territory of the Dominican Republic.

Los Haitises National Park has a great representation of endemic birds like:  The Pelican, La “Tijereta”, The Parrot, The Owl, etc.
